Thank You For Booking An Advice Session.
This might be a one off session or it could be your first step towards become a serviced client with Teachers Financial Planning.
Either way, we want to make sure that you get the most from your time you have booked with an adviser, so here are some things you should do to prepare for your meeting:
- Complete the pre-meeting questionnaire – if you share finances with someone you should complete their information on the questionnaire as well. Only complete the questionnaire in one name if your finances are completely unconnected to another party.
- Return the questionnaire before the meeting – this will allow time before your meeting for the adviser to prepare and perhaps flag up areas you hadn’t considered.
- Make sure that you have any pension (for example a MyPension Online statement),policy or plan information to hand for the meeting.
- Have an idea of what you want to ask the adviser and we’ll do our best to answer all of your questions, or arrange a free follow up.
The fee that you have paid from this advice meeting can be used to offset the cost of future initial advice fees for the same amount, without expiry, if you become a serviced client of the firm at a later date.
Please complete the Financial Questionnaire before the meeting. It will provide you with a useful snapshot of where you are now and will form the basis of any advice or guidance we give you. From a regulatory perspective, we need to collect this information before we can give you any guidance or advice.
If the questionnaire is not completed before the meeting, it’s likely that around half of the allocated time will likely go towards completing the questionnaire rather than your answering questions.
