Teachers’ Pensions will be conducting a monthly mortality screening exercise in order to ensure that, should anything happen to any of its members, they can reduce the impact of bereavement. They aim to minimise the contact necessary in the event of bereavement and to avoid unwelcome official procedures.
Teachers’ Pensions are also undertaking the exercise to ensure the details they hold about members are correct. In rare cases, this may result in a letter being sent to the wrong person. Teachers’ Pensions will extend their apologies to any members this has happened to, but also ask that they are contacted to allow them to update their records.
Teachers’ Pensions are always keen to keep their members updated with new processes, to ensure members know what changes are being made and why.
