What are the benefits of registering for MPO?
By registering for, and accessing, your MPO account, you have access to personal estimates of your retirement benefits based on the record of service and salary held by the Teachers’ Pension. Your employers keep the Teachers’ Pension Scheme of your status.
The portal is also where you update your personal details and securely submit forms. In short, it is a simple, safe, and easy way to manage your pension.
Checking in regularly
A year after you first register for My Pension Online, you will be asked to confirm your details are up to date. You will either update your details or check the box to say they are accurate. Editing each section one at a time is the best way to ensure the accuracy of your details.
If your record is inaccurate
If, when checking your My Pension Online, you find your service history or salary status is inaccurate, you will need to pursue corrections with your employer responsible for reporting these details. Your employer or ex-employer will need to contact Teachers’ Pension to update your details.
