Teachers Pension Confusion

19/12/2014 Ged O'Neil Bell

A teaching union recently circulated communication regarding certain employers’ completion of the Teachers’ Pensions Annual Service Return. The document stated that the data provided was from October and caused some confusion among Teachers’ Pensions members.

Teachers Pensions’ say that while they work collaboratively with all their stakeholders, providing them with information about the Teachers’ Pensions Scheme, this particular document was not issued by them.

If this communication led you to have concerns about your pension, it may be helpful to log in to or sign up for a My Pension Online (MPO) account here.
